Friday Goodwill Find:Simple Shabby Bottle

Dear Blogging Friends

I think it's so amazing how simple mason and canning jars and bottles have evolved and become a bottle and jar decorating revolution.  In my young years they were used for canning and a jar for drinking sweet tea or your beverage of choice.  Now, they have become a decorating delight, so this Simple Shabby Bottle is my Friday Goodwill Find, can you see the price $1.21.  To bad it's opened and the water is gone, they sell for much more on eBay, LOL!  I'll just fill it with pretty posies!   My snow ball bush is almost full bloom white so I cut some green blooms and dressed my Simple Shabby Bottle with my favorite colors pink and green.

Stay tuned for more beautiful!

  4. A while back I read that mason and other jars were no longer going to be trendy. I love how versatile they are and don't think they're going anywhere. Your vignette is very soft and pretty thanks for sharing it at Celebrate Your Story link party. See you next week!

  9. That bottle is gorgeous! It seems like a remember those from a few years ago and they had lemonade in them maybe. I love the way you've displayed it with the hydrangeas. Just perfectly beautiful and shabby chic. :)

    1. Debby, I'm going to go out on a limb and say this...your pictures are beautiful! You might want to consider making them bigger for those of us over 40 who have to squint. :)

This is a compliment not an ugly comment. Please take it that way.

  13. This is so lovely! I just recently found out that green hydrangeas are just baby hydrangeas and if left alone will turn into pink, blue or white. I didn't know that?!! It's the little things isn't it? LOL
