My last post was about beautiful store bought roses and yes they are easy and so beautiful but they never last long enough and they never give me the satisfaction or the the thrill of something I actually planted and have carefully taken care of. Truth be told, I love gardening! I love being outside and sweating, yes sweating! I even love cutting my own grass, propelled mower no rider.
Take a look at this double begonia. Isn't it beautiful. I found out it loves water more water than your usually summer shade flower. I walk out my door and there it is and I give it lots of water. Giving it so much water has given me over six blooms from one plant.
Enjoy Gods beauty and every moment of it and truth be told I prefer being outside. You know what they say, you can take the girl out of the country but you will never take the country out of the girl, if you only knew!

Hellofit!

I hope you had a chance to check out Lola's new outfit this year at Where Bloggers Create! This post is all about buying beautiful flowers, well, you know, for the Hellofit! Publix, my fav grocery store had 18 roses for $10 so, I felt guilty and bought them for the Hellofit! I painted up a few shabby finds to make the shabby roses even more beautiful. A shabby chippy stool, a beautiful shabby frame and my mantel with new shabby painted shutters! The shabby cream roses have a hint of pink on the edge of the roses. So, do you ever feel like buying something for the Hellofit?
Love,

Dear Blogging Friends,
First and foremost, thank you Karen, mydesertcotrage.com for hosting this incredible party. This is my second year and could not wait to create something for everyone to see including my sewing room. I'm a girl on a budget so this year, "What Ever Lola Wants, Lola Gets"! So Lola wanted a new dress, Lola is my mannequin. BTW, everything you see is from Goodwill in my sewing room accept my sewing machine. Lola's dress was created from coffee filters with a little help from my friends and you know who you are if you are reading this, LOL! Thank you friends! What do you think from two packs of 1.28 coffee filters? I love to create and I absolutely Love my blog. My sewing room is where my milk glass collection is and the fish is my newest find! The ants, well, they tell a story, another creation. And the pumpkins, my daughter and I have great memories staying up all night creating! I have a trunk that keeps my fabric and other things together. When I sit and sew it looks out over my deck to my pool. The colors of my sewing room well they came from the material I found at Goodwill, curtains and such, and of course my sister who told me to step out of my pink box. Thank you for taking the time to visit "Where Bloggers Create"! Get in your space, kitchen table or whatever it may be and create!
