Violin Case for a Song....

Dear Blogging Friends

I found this violin case for a song but unfortunately it did not include the violin.  I shabby chalk painted the case and only embellished it with some satin rosettes.  I wanted it to be simple.  I plan to decorate the inside for Christmas so you will have to stay tuned, LOL , don't you hate it when crazy bloggers do that!  Another find for a song was this 1926 Baptist Hymnal which I plan to use for Christmas decorating to, so do you get the tune or maybe the theme?  Christmas will be here be before you can sing, "It's the most wonderful time of the year!"

Thank you for tuning in!

Debby

  1. This should be fun to decorate with. Almost looks like something for a wedding.

  2. Hi Debbie! Thanks SO much for taking part in "Let's Talk Vintage!" this week. I don't mind the "tune in" stuff, I guess it is because I used to work in local TV! LOL. Can't wait to see your violin when you are finished. Perfect for the link party! Have a great day, Jill

  8. Love what you did to the case Debby! It will be fab for Christmas. Maybe I need to send you a music chain that I made for myself a few years ago. It would be fun with it. Congrats on being the monthly feature at Vintage Charm! Well deserved. Love your style!
