Sweet Summertime

Hi Friends

I hope you are having a wonderful July 4th! So many fun times and memories for this holiday for me and my family.  Although we are not together I will assure you they are in my heart, my brother Michael a beautiful soul who loved children, but left this world giving and kind.  My mom was the heart of our family making sure her grandchildren had everything their hearts desired, my best freind, I miss you both.

My post is about decorating and decorating with the things you love.  Sweet Chocolate Pots, so vintage, and their flowers remind me of Summer, they are hard to find but I found one without a lid, and my broken garden angel both for a song. I love my family, I love vintage and flowers.  I have never been into fads because I have never been a follower and never will.    I decorate with things I love, things that's will never go out of style, things that have been around for a long time, they call it vintage! I guess my soul will be a Vintage one.  Decorate with the things you love.  No matter new or old!

  1. I have loved pink roses for about as long as I can remember. I now collect old dishes with pink roses, and you can't imagine how much I enjoyed looking at this post. Your ideas and photography are wonderful. Thank you!

  2. The pots are just gorgeous! I did not know they were called chocolate pots. I too decorate with the things I love and not according to fads or this year's color! I decorate my rooms once and then just change out the décor pieces. I don't like change too much and I need my home to be the same when I come through the door. Happy 4th!

  12. Hi Debby,
I am visiting from Pink Saturday after seeing your gorgeous pink rocker. Your rose pitchers are spectacular! Just my taste and wow, you have a beautiful collection. I also decided to blog after retiring and hope one day I will be an empty nester too. Lol. (My son is 31 and lives at home). Your blog is an inspiration! So beautiful! Blessings, Karen
