Cake & Ice Cream

Dear Friends

I hope your winter is gong well.  I did not want my five year Blogging anniversary to go by without thanking and sharing my love with everyone who has ever taken the time to read Debbygoesshabby.blogspot.com.  If you didn't know, I did this out of grief, lost job, and empty nesting.  Don't get me wrong, I know there are far worse things but I was lucky enough to find something to help me in a sad time.  So to celebrate, I made a heart shape cake out of all my dried roses and moss.  Cake and ice cream that you can share all year long!
We all have sad times, right, but if you have lost a loved one, no matter, parent, friend, your partner, husband, child, I hope you find the strength to breath, get out of bed, put your clothes on and eventually accept the horrible truth of loss.  Loss is hard, it comes in many shapes and forms, but find someone or something that will help you cope.  Talk, cry, cry out loud, run, jump, hit something whatever it takes to get you through or just grieve out loud!  I was blessed to have my family and without them I can't imagine?  So, this post is about my five year blogging anniversary, a place I get to share all my creativity, love of flowers and something that reminds me of my mother, my best friend.  I will continue making the world beautiful one blog post at a time. Enjoy cake and ice cream its for you!  Let's celebrate our lossed loved ones...

  3. Hello dearie...yes, I do remember sending those hollyhock seeds. I am sorry they never grew for you, Debby. Some people have the worst time growing them from seeds, and others can grow them in just about any type of soil. I have really thinned them out, because they became so invasive. I am into roses these days. Your dried arrangements in your post are adorable, and so appropriate for your anniversary in blogging. I lost my first husband to cancer years ago, so I understand your loving words. I am glad to see you on IG, and again through blogging, Debby.
    Smooches.

  20. it is 3 years now since i and my ex husband reunited through the powerful love spell of Dr Akudu. i once thought there was no more hope after getting divorced out of my 8 years marriage, but my view of this changed when my friend introduced me to voodoo spells and magics . I was opportune to get in contact with Dr. Akudu, the man who returned my ex husband's love back to me in 24 hours after 5 years of separation. My life was in a deep mess before i experienced his life changing love spells which have still kept me happily married till now. You could also solve your marriage cases and get your ex's love back by consulting Dr. Aakudu on dr.akudupowerfulspell@gmail.com
