Dear Friends
Thank you so much for your comments about retirement. I guess it will be another Season of my life and will embrace it as it is better than the inevitable. I wanted to share pictures of nature and some of these pictures I am most proud of. The swallow tails which I hope I have named them correctly are my pride and joy they keep coming back year after year and I am so glad I get to be their lunch partner. Bees, well we all know we need these in our lives and a picture of my cherry tree in my back yard, it was a seedling and now towers my house and provides shade year after year and a beautiful pink snow in the Spring. The full double rainbow, well it was a long Friday and I was leaving my job "I Love To Hate" and it was magical standing right under the glow, I will never forget it.
My flower pictures are usually from my perennial bed I planted the year my son graduated from high school. I can't help but think about all the parents starting new Seasons with their children. Some starting preschool, kindergarten, middle school, high school, college. I will never forget the drive home after leaving my son at college, my loving man and I cried all the way home. Flowers and nature have a way of letting you know there is a future and a new beginning. I know this, I live this, I believe this. Play in the dirt again and walk through a garden and enjoy nature and yes, butterflies are free to fly!

I started my blog to stay busy through my grief, unemployment and empty nesting. I love making something beautiful again. "Sometimes you may not be picked to join the bouquet, so be your own single beauty". My words, and making the world beautiful one post at a time.

Your nature photos are just marvelous. The hydrangeas and butterflies are my favorites. Our youngest (and last) son is starting high school in 2 weeks and I think I'm more nervous about it than he is! Our oldest will be in college next year....sigh.....Thanks so much for sharing at Vintage Charm!
