Are you enjoying your Spring? Do you remember the pink velvet blouse from Goodwill! I've made puffy love hearts, shabby bracelet and now velveteen Easter eggs. The children's book the Velveteen Rabbit inspired me and its beautiful story!
Such a beautiful story and the velveteen rabbit I have had for many years. I finally started to dig in the dirt again and I am so happy Spring is upon us. The egg cups were a $1 find and I hope they make you smile. Happy Spring and soon Easter will be here. The tuplip photo from my garden and double impatiens blooms just planted, my favorite annual!
I just love The Velveteen Rabbit story. When my granddaughter was little she wanted to watch the movie every time she was here. Your velveteen rabbit is fabulous! I love the baskets and the eggs are perfect. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe Velveteen Rabbit has been one I have loved for a long time. I think I was a young adult when I heard it for the first time though. Love your rabbit AND those eggs! How perfect. Have a blessed weekend- xo Diana

How beautiful! I just love how you transformed these finds -- love the color of that velvet and the way you matched the paint for the baskets. Such a pretty, pretty decoration!
ReplyDeleteThe velveteen rabbit is a fun story... and how nice you could decorate with that in mind. :)
