Dear Friends
April is gone and May is on its way. I have a few Friday Goodwill Finds! To me they are "Beautiful Simple Things"! China, Crystal and a vintage sewing drawer that belonged to my great aunt to help display.
Oh, and a sugar bowl, this made my heart sing and I filled it full of my double impatiens! I plant these annuals each year at my front door so I see them so much and absolutely love, they are "Beautiful Simple Things"! My loving man has a birthday this month and has started a new job, me, I have a birthday and continue to stay at the job I love to hate but am so thankful for! Life should get easier as you get older but not sure about that. So, I will continue to enjoy the "Beautiful Simple Things"!
Friday Goodwill Find: Beautiful Simple Things

I started my blog to stay busy through my grief, unemployment and empty nesting. I love making something beautiful again. "Sometimes you may not be picked to join the bouquet, so be your own single beauty". My words, and making the world beautiful one post at a time.

Beautiful finds. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your great pieces and especially the way you show them:Beautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteYou have gift of talent for making gorgeous vignettes with your beautiful pieces. Love to see such pretty things people have and live with. Looks like you are gifted photographer. Love that vanity in your Cinderella guest room. Enjoying your blog very much.
ReplyDeleteHope you're enjoying your Spring weekend
I love the pretty plates displayed in the vintage drawer. So pretty. What a beautiful sugar bowl! No, life does not get easier as we get older, but it gets better (in attitude, I think!).
ReplyDeleteDebby, Happy Pink Saturday! Your dishes, flowers, and vintage drawer have a delicate beauty to them. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I love the pink and green floral color theme.
ReplyDeleteThose dishes remind me of my mother, who loved roses. They look very familiar. Our GW doesn't seem to have much to discover these days.
ReplyDeleteAs for your job, I saw this sign last year that brought me back to reality: Somebody would be happy to have what you have.
Myrna
I too love sewing machine drawers and I have some of those plates that were my mothers. We must think a like.

Oh how I love the front plate in your sewing drawer. Something about old fashioned (to me) embellishments and flowers that gets me. Also am crazy for your pitcher with roses in it, such gorgeous and precious finds.
ReplyDeleteI cherish my finds, have about 4 different thrift stores we love to go to in Grand Junction, usually on senior discount days.
We live few miles west of G.J. in rural area and 5 weeks between paydays too many months so don't always get to go thrifting nearly as often as would love to. But then sure do enjoy it when we do.
Have beautiful Sunday.
Beautiful indeed! I too love the green glass and gave you a feature this morning for "Let's Talk Vintage!" Be sure to hop on over to www.vintandco.com/blog

ReplyDeleteYou and I share a love for pink roses; I love your china dishes!
