Dear Blogging Friends!
Just wanted to share the rest of my pics of my dining room and Let It Snow Limoges. I made the Christmas stick tree and added my home made bottle top macarons in pink and gold. Next, the pink shabby high chair with more Goodwill cast away lights, goodwill skates and my sign Let It Snow Limoges! My table cloth was a Goodwill find that was too small and had to make a ruffle, looks real Shabby. My Limoges dishes with the 99 cent light, you remember these? I shabby painted it and added glitter!
Next I'm giving you a quick how to DIY on a cracker box. Mine are made out of paper towel holders, cut in half, covered with beautiful Christmas paper and stuffed with Chocolate Kisses. These make great gifts on packages or just a quick last minute beautiful inexpensive gift.
Last but not least are the flowers, I love all our blogging friends that incorporate our love of flowers but they are expensive! So , I went looking for freebies from my neighbor down the street. These are camellias. They are beautiful and look like velvet in real time, tried to grow them myself, unsuccessful.
Christmas can be stressful, stop and breath and admire all the beauty. Stay tuned, my next Goodwill Friday post will be wonderful red and green and I really had to challenge my inner creativity but I feel it will be worth tuning in for, I promise!

Friday Goodwill Finds!
Saturday, December 12, 2015
I started my blog to stay busy through my grief, unemployment and empty nesting. I love making something beautiful again. "Sometimes you may not be picked to join the bouquet, so be your own single beauty". My words, and making the world beautiful one post at a time.

The ruffle you added looks great. Good deal on the old fashioned candles. I love how you did them. I have done some in pink, but seeing yours I want some white and sparkling also. You crackers look awesome. (I'm glad you used paper towel tubing.) Seeing how nice yours look I am now itching to make some. My family loves the awful jokes and puns if I did home-made ones I'd have to find some real groaners. Merry Christmas. God Bless! Susan- Susie'sChristmasCottage@blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteYour little high chair is so sweet! Lovely! Thank you for joining Home Sweet Home!
ReplyDeleteDebby, the bird with the hat made me smile! Love your little high chair and the cracker box is so fun. That Camellia is gorgeous! I received my little macaroons and love them!! I put the pink ones on my silver tree and the red ones down stairs with my candyland theme. I have been so busy that I have been away from my computer for almost a week. Wanted to say thanks for sharing with Creating Christmas and hope to have a little something in the mail for you by Friday. Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeletehugs,
