Feathering Your Nest

Dear Friends

Thank you for tuning in!  The holidays will be here soon.  I have been "Feathering My Nest"!  Finishing projects and preparing for the holidays.  So much to do and so little time and energy.  I spent this past weekend with my daughter for her birthday, we always have fun and went picin at Michael's 80% off flower bin. Can't wait to create with those faux flowers, for the winter!  I'm feathering my nest and finally created a beautiful needle point pillow from a Friday Goodwill  Find.  I'm working hard to get it all done, and if you don't accomplish everything you want to do, "After all...tomorrow is another day"!

  2. The pillow is lovely! Did you have to block it/straighten it out first, or was it ready to go? I just acquired one from a vintage store but it needs to be blocked - need to read up on how to do that! Yours turned out beautifully! ~ Janet

  3. What a beautiful cushion, just gorgeous. You are so right, we can't do everything all at once. Rome was not built in a day!

  7. That needle point pillow is precious. There are so many great finds at thrift stores that people don't always tap into and yet you can create so many lovely items for the home out of them!
