I will be on holiday for a week with my family and my daughter, Jessica, shared these beautiful pics of her upstairs bathroom remodel and thought I would share with my friends. The reason I'm calling this post "Bittersweet, you see, this is the last remodel to my daughter and son-in laws, Tim, house, their first (WE OWN) house. They have remodeled the entire house, kitchen, bathroom, laundry, painting all inside walls and trim, I could go on forever, alot of love, sweat, blood, lol! So much joy in remodeling and adventure in a beautiful place south by the water. Bittersweet because the service tells them where they must go but one day they will find their forever home.
My daughter and I love vintage and Goodwill Finds, in fact it was her idea to start Friday Goodwill Finds, we share a love of flowers and decorating. The ball jars are from Goodwill and the sink in the pics, we found two of the same at Goodwill together the same day, she has hers installed mine still sits in the garage. They found OOps $10 paint, flooring that looks like real marble, a few fixtures and no cookie cutter vanity for her, Home Goods, legs cut down. A beautiful "Beauty and the Beast Mirror" and TaDa! This bathroom is bright and beautiful, my son-in-law, Tim, did all the tile, flooring, trim, they make a great team. They will be soon on their way to another adventure and for them may God be with them where ever that magic carpet takes them!

I started my blog to stay busy through my grief, unemployment and empty nesting. I love making something beautiful again. "Sometimes you may not be picked to join the bouquet, so be your own single beauty". My words, and making the world beautiful one post at a time.

What an interesting mirror and I also love the tinted mason jars. Thank you for sharing with us at Celebrate Your Story, and have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteIts really sad they have to leave all that hard work behind them. It is really novel and beautiful. At least they will have the memories and the improved skill set from tackling the projects. Really different and pretty.
ReplyDeleteSomeone is really going to appreciate the love they gave their home! Love the peonies & mason jars--thanks for sharing @Vintage Charm!
ReplyDeleteYou always make the most beautiful photos and so well styled. Your daughter's bathroom is so cute and all the remodeling will help to sell or rent the property. Thanks for sharing at Snickerdoodle.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great job they did Debby. I love the sink! Blue ball jars are a must for me. So pretty with the flowers. Wishing them the best!! Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,
