Do you wish you could gave a chandelier in every room? I know I do, but instead I repurposed this $5 crystal lamp from a yard sale into a shabby crystal bird bath. I had this crystal bowl in a wooden chair in the garden but the chairs will eventually rot. So, I repurposed this crystal lamp, the sun shinning thru is amazing, a beautiful shabby birdbath, the birds will never leave with this kind of luxury, LOL! For all of you who left a message about my potting bench or viewed debbygoesshabby.com thank you! I had an amazing blogging week of love! Continue to do what you love.

I started my blog to stay busy through my grief, unemployment and empty nesting. I love making something beautiful again. "Sometimes you may not be picked to join the bouquet, so be your own single beauty". My words, and making the world beautiful one post at a time.

ReplyDeleteOh my gosh I just love this !!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous birdbath ( is it very heavy? I'd be afraid of it falling ! )

Love your little birdbath. Such a pretty stylish piece.
ReplyDeleteYours is the prettiest glass bird bath I have seen.
ReplyDeleteI made one out of glass vases and glass plates but
yours is so shabby chic elegant

Love this idea Debby! I agree, the birds are never going to want to leave. lol! I have a glass floor lamp base out under my pergola. Last year I glued a bird cage to the top and place a geranium inside. I took the cage off for Winter and didn't end up doing anything with it this year. I may need to look for a large glass lamp shade. I found a smaller one at a thrift that I am going to make into a hanging birdfeeder. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
ReplyDeletehugs,

ReplyDeleteProbably the prettiest birdbath I've ever seen Deb. How very clever of you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for always sharing your shabbiliciousness at Shabbilicious Friday... I so appreciate it.
Hugs ~ Kerryanne
Oh, it's simply elegant! Great job! If too many birdies fly by, look into bird removal in New Jersey
