Sorbet!

My inspiration for this "Sorbet Peony" came from Martha Stewart.  If you haven't seen her peony gardens, you should.  She's a women after my own heart!  I'm just saying,  I'll never have a "Martha Peony Garden"'  But so proud to blog about this one bush!  Martha, thank you for your inspiration, you continue to inspire me and btw, if you happen to read my blog this isn't my only peony bush, LOL!  Who, What and when inspires you!

Keep dreaming!

Debby!

  1. I love peonies! My grandmother had several bushes; the flowers were white with red in the centers, and oh, what a glorious perfume. In my first house, I had a pink peony that I plated from the tuber. It took a few years for it to finally bloom, but it was worth the wait. Now, in our fourth house, I am researching what peony I'd like to plant here. Since I am "planted" here with no intention of every moving, I can wait a few years for the first lovely bloom. And I think I'd like an old variety; perhaps Sarah Bernhardt.

  5. Brag on, sister! Brag on! You deserve to! I love peonies, but I've not had much growing them here in the fickle Midwest where the soil is more like clay and the winter weather can kill a Spring plant without so much as a How-do-you-do! I'm impressed that you have these growing so beautifully in your garden whether it's Martha-sized or not!

Enjoy the beautiful fruits...or that would be FLOWERS, I guess!...of your labor! (Visiting from Pink Saturday)
