Violin Case for a Song....

Dear Blogging Friends

I found this violin case for a song but unfortunately it did not include the violin.  I shabby chalk painted the case and only embellished it with some satin rosettes.  I wanted it to be simple.  I plan to decorate the inside for Christmas so you will have to stay tuned, LOL , don't you hate it when crazy bloggers do that!  Another find for a song was this 1926 Baptist Hymnal which I plan to use for Christmas decorating to, so do you get the tune or maybe the theme?  Christmas will be here be before you can sing, "It's the most wonderful time of the year!"

Thank you for tuning in!

FALL in Love (Part III)

Dear Blogging Friends,

Thank you for tuning in for my FALL in Love Part III.  I wanted to create something a little different, get ready, no pink on this post! My FALL in Love post consist of Cinderella pumpkins!  I loaded up my antique wheel barrel and painted an old mirror with chalk board paint.  The throws over the rockers are a table cloth cut in half from Goodwill ( $4 ) and the pillows, the pumpkin color I made out of a blouse of mine and the other goodwill ($2).  The posy you see are swamp daises and a beautiful orange rose from my garden.  I was given the swamp daises seeds from a good friend whose husband passed away about the same time the daisies bloom and he loved these swamp daises, he called them.  When they bloom they make me think about my friend and her husband she lost and was married to over 40 years, her prince.  I love you my dear friend Sandra!  The ball jar I bought for 50 cent from the same sale I bought the crystal lamp I made the crystal bird bath from.  I must say this is the most romantic FALL post I have seen and remember,

"A dream is a wish your heart makes when your fast asleep.  In dreams you will lose your heartaches.  Whatever you wish for, you will keep.  Have faith in your dreams, and someday, your rainbow will come smiling through.  No matter how your heart is grieving, if you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true".

FALL in Love (Part II)

Dear blogging friends,

Hope everyone had a good week.  So much rain in in the GA, so my pics are not the best but a blogger soldiers on!  FALL in Love Part II includes my coffee table vignette which are pumpkins with crystal stems shinny material and a silver tray and when the sun is out its a beautiful sight.  I posted these last year on my mantel.  A Shabby Thanksgiving!  Little shabby acorns painted pink and glittered up and I closed the armoire long enough from football to share more  sweater pumpkins I put on top of my collection of pitchers.  Next, the Cinderella guest room with a couple of wool sweaters with silver spoons.  One of my favorite platters served up with morning glories which actually has handles I have never seen anything like it before, love it!  Are your morning glories blooming now?  And my Fall In Love outside wreath, can't wait to share some outside Fall in Love goodness as soon as the sun shines.  I couldn't help myself, I took a pic of this angel trumpet I'm trying to root.  Only wish bad luck, or no luck with flowers, a superstition, right?

Much, FALL in Love!
